I'm Dr. Sonja
JD, MPA.
Dr. Sonja is the Founder and CEO of Building Legacy, LLC., a firm that focuses on providing empowerment services by the way of motivational speaking, real estate and business consulting, conflict resolution mediation services, life coaching and mentoring.
Dr. Sonja is the creator of the Connectors Mentorship Program and the Kingdom Building Mindset: Purposely Becoming You course. Dr. Sonja is the author of the book titled, "Embracing Your Journey, A Reflection of Abraham's Walk. She is a wife, mother and a lover of the word of God.
Qualified
Dr. Sonja possess a Juris Doctorate from Purdue University. Master of Public Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Commence from DePaul University.
Equipped
Dr. Sonja is a member of New Life Covenant- South Campus, where learning, following, and loving the Lord and His desires for us to live abundant lives, cultivated her passion to flourish in the word of the Lord.
Invested
Dr. Sonja is currently building wealth in the Chicagoland area with her husband Robert, daughter Kiera, and son Isaiah. Together they are preparing for success and prosperity for this generation and the next.
My Story
My journey to purpose and prosperity was born out of a season of loss. I experienced a divorce, loss of employment, car repossession, and overwhelming credit card debt—all while caring for my two small children, Isaiah and Kiera. These events could have destroyed me, but instead, I tapped into my faith in God to transform my life by reprogramming my way of thinking. Resulting in a renewed mindset. Through trust in God's promises of purpose and prosperity, I created a life of fulfilled legacy.
Now I empower others on their journey to destiny. Today, my life is a testament to the power of biblical principles, faith, and determination.
Why I Do It
My passion for helping others stems from my own experiences and the transformative power of faith. I believe that understanding who you are and whose you are can conquer the spirits of fear and poverty. As a licensed manager real estate broker, certified specialist in short sales, foreclosures, REO, and probate real estate, I use my extensive knowledge and experience to coach others on building wealth through real estate. That is one way that I have been blessed and fortunate to help others.
Through Building Legacy LLC, I offer an educational experience that makes the process of wealth-building through entrepreneurship and other marketplace strategies to become realistic for anyone ready to learn. I mentor, coach, train, equip and teach others individually or in groups all over. My goal is to help you shift your mindset from poverty to prosperity, understand that wealth is your inheritance, and take the steps to receive it. Through a combination of my love for God, impressive education, and impactful career experiences, I have built a life of success for myself and now coach others to do the same. My life's passion is to change mindsets from poverty to prosperity, ensuring that all who are connected to me will reach their fullest potential, become the destiny magnet that God promised, and create a sustainable legacy for generations to come.
